A stunning jet black male, Marcus has the "show ring" look that catches judges' attention. His carriage and attitude speak volumes about his potency as a herd sire, as does his dominant true black lineage. He is beautiful, and he knows it, and makes sure you know it too. Columbine Ranch Gwendolyn

Huacaya Open (Female) Light Fawn

AOA# 32191523 DOB: 7/18/201310 yrs
Gwendolyn suprised us all when she was born to true black Aardwolfs Peruvian Trinity, and Kokopelli's Song Desperado, a classic dark silver grey male with a predominately grey background. Gwendolyn was born lt fawn with a classic gray color pattern, including white legs and chest, and a darker fawn "crown"! Marco Polo is his name, because he was up and wandering 10 minutes after he was born. In an hour he had nursed and was trying to run. His mom was constantly stressed trying to keep an eye on him, as he showed no fear and went wherever his heart took him. Nine months later he is running the yearling boys pen, gets the choicest foods and checks out anything new in the pen first. We had to wean him at 6 months because he was becoming very adept at trying to breed the girls in the moms pen. He was able to get seasoned adult females to kush!! He has VERY fine fiber, with high frequency "zipper" crimp and long staple. He is a light fawn, but like his mother, he has the classic gray pattern with a white chest, legs and face, and a "crown" on his head. His mothers fleece is now showing dark red fibers in it. Marco has lots of classic gray in his background. Will he throw grays? Only time will tell.
This boy has a dominant personality, is extremely intelligent, is very friendly and inquisitive, and has a natural show ring presence, like his sire. His activities and adventures keep everyone constantly entertained. Ranch visitors stop and watch him by the hour. He is an exceptional animal personality. Im excited to see if the rest of him keeps up with his personality! So far, so good!
